NEW YORK, Feb. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for Guys, a men's grooming shop that provides hand and foot care, haircuts and shaves in man cave nirvana, has announced plans to bring at least 15 locations, through strategic franchise partnerships, to the greater New York City area over the next five years.
The unique concept, with an overarching goal to have 250 locations open and operating by 2022, plans to ramp up growth through a selective strategy, focusing on a solid foundation of smart franchise partnerships and tactical site selection. Building on its momentum of licenses awarded for more than 200 shops during its first year of franchising, the New York Hammer & Nails development will be spearheaded by Area Representative Chris Allen. Already working toward his expansion goals, Allen's team has signed a lease in Brooklyn, in which the new location will debut in Summer 2018. An additional franchisee agreement has been signed to bring a second location to the metro area in late 2018.
"At Hammer & Nails, the entire experience is not only the pinnacle of relaxation and pampering, but our hand and foot care yields health benefits, too," Allen stated. "The success that Hammer & Nails has garnered on the West Coast shows that more men are seeking out destinations for high quality grooming. We are excited to be the first of our kind in New York, especially with Brooklyn's forward-thinking population."
The first New York location will open under the ownership of entrepreneur Anthony David in the North Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, located at 97 North 10th St. The second location will open under Metro Grooming Partners, LLC., comprised of entrepreneurs Stevens Demorcy, Michael Trotman and Lee Valentin, who are actively seeking site selection. Additional targeted development markets include the five Boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester County, and Rockland County.
"The Hammer & Nails brand has truly discovered an untapped sector of the massive health and wellness industry – no one is delivering male-centered grooming services the way we are," said Michael Elliot, founder and CEO of Hammer & Nails. "We're still at the ground floor of our development in New York City, making it an exciting expansion region for us. We're eager to bring our concept to a diverse group of new customers in the area."
The first and only corporate-owned location opened in November 2013 on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles and gross revenues have since swelled. The system opened its first franchise location last year in Folsom, Calif., and plans to add an additional 10 locations in 2018. Guests are sure to feel welcome in new Hammer & Nails locations as they relax in ultimate man cave nirvana the moment they enter the shop. Locations have a low-lit and luxurious atmosphere with dark wood and steel detailing, oversized Bison leather chairs, personal TVs and noise cancelling headphones, and complementary beverages.
As the only niche male grooming franchise available, Hammer & Nails has a first-to-market advantage in the ever-growing $21B male grooming industry. For more information about the Hammer & Nails franchise opportunity, visit www.hammerandnails-franchising.com.
