Hammacher Schlemmer Introduces The Grill Cleaning Robot
NEW YORK, April 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing its 166-year history of offering the Best, the Only and the Unexpected, Hammacher Schlemmer introduces The Grill Cleaning Robot, a device that autonomously cleans grill grates.
The Grill Cleaning Robot has a built-in CPU and three electric motors that rotate three cylindrical brushes, propelling the robot across the grill grates and removing burnt bits of food and grease in just a few passes.
"The Grill Cleaning Robot uses cutting-edge technology to keep grill grates clean while requiring minimal effort from cooks who can instead focus on their food preparation," said Hammacher Schlemmer's General Manager Fred Berns.
The device can be set to clean for 10, 20, or 30 minutes and its rechargeable battery provides up to four hours of power after a four-hour charge. The Grill Cleaning Robot's brass bristles won't scratch stainless steel or porcelain surfaces and they are removable and dishwasher safe.
"Just like with typical grill brushes it's best to use The Grill Cleaning Robot while the grill is warm but not above 250° F. The robot actually monitors ambient temperature and sounds an alarm if the grill is too hot to clean," explained Mr. Berns.
The Grill Cleaning Robot is available from Hammacher Schlemmer for $119.95. For more information about this product, please visit www.hammacher.com/83709 or contact Trish Hammond at (847) 581-8987 or via e-mail at [email protected].
