Hamilton Sundstrand's Kidde Aerospace & Defense Business Recognized with Airbus Supplier Quality Award

FARNBOROUGH, England, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW -- Airbus recently awarded Hamilton Sundstrand's Kidde Aerospace & Defense business one of the company's 2010 "Best Performer" awards. Hamilton Sundstrand is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Kidde Aerospace & Defense was one of three companies selected by the Airbus Supplier Quality Improvement Plan 2010 Executive Board for its outstanding sustainable quality and delivery performance throughout 2009. The company was selected from a pool of more than 300 Airbus system suppliers.
