Hamilton Sundstrand Signs Up With AFI KLM E&M for Boeing 787 Component Services
WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn., April 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), and a key supplier of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner program, and Air France Industries KLM Engineering and Maintenance have signed a long-term repair license agreement for providing MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) services for Hamilton Sundstrand's components on the Boeing 787.
This relationship allows AFI KLM's engineering and maintenance division to expand its nose-to-tail service by including Hamilton Sundstrand components to Boeing 787 customers in its portfolio. This includes latest technologies like electrically generated systems and liquid cooling components.

For the Boeing 787, as for other aircraft types in the past, AFI KLM E&M will continue its successful path of developing and applying sophisticated repairs. The agreement also enables AFI KLM E&M to become an official member of Hamilton Sundstrand's Boeing 787 MRO supplier network.
AFI KLM E&M and Hamilton Sundstrand are already cooperating on repair services and on-site-support for components and projects for other aircraft.
