Hamilton Sundstrand recognized by GE Aviation for outstanding customer service on the GP7200 engine program
LONDON, July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW -- Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation (NYSE: UTX), was recently recognized by GE Aviation for outstanding customer service for its work as a GE supplier on the Engine Alliance GP7200 engine program. Hamilton Sundstrand's Customer Service organization received an overall score of 6.3 on a Likert scale of 7 on its annual customer satisfaction survey sent to GE Aviation in November, 2011. This score translates to UTC ACE Gold performance.

GE Aviation noted several Hamilton Sundstrand accomplishments, including strong engineering support on all technical requests, satisfactory spare parts planning and solid execution on repair turnaround time.

The Engine Alliance is a 50-50 joint venture between Pratt & Whitney and GE Aviation. Its GP7200 engine is the market-leading, most fuel-efficient engine powering the Airbus A380.
As a supplier to GE on the program, Hamilton Sundstrand provides the GP7200 Main Fuel Pump and Fuel Manifold. The Entry-Into-Service for these products commenced in 2008, with Emirates as the launch operator. There are now 34 GP7200-engine powered A380s in service with Emirates, Air France and Korean Air. Other Engine Alliance customers include Air Austral, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways.
