Hamilton Sundstrand Receives Bombardier's 2011 In-Service STAR Award for Excellence in Customer Service
PARIS, June 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PARIS AIR SHOW – Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation was recently recognized by Bombardier with a 2011 In-Service Supplier Top Achievement Recognition (STAR) Award for its in-service support of Bombardier's Q400* aircraft program. Hamilton Sundstrand is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
Hamilton Sundstrand was among five suppliers recognized for superior support to Bombardier customers at the CRJ* Operators' Conference and Trade Show in Toronto, Canada. Hamilton Sundstrand was selected for the In-Service STAR Award for the Q400 aircraft program based on its performance over the past year.

Bombardier In-Service STAR Awards are given to suppliers for excellence in customer support based on overall performance, as measured by Bombardier's In-Service Supplier Scorecard in 2010. To be considered for this award, a supplier must have scored at least 85 per cent in areas deemed most important by Bombardier's customers. Measures include in-service performance relative to product performance, including reliability and cost, airline support focused on logistics support, and customer focus.
