WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn., Sept. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation, and a key supplier in the Boeing 787 Dreamliner program and Lufthansa Technik AG have signed a long-term contract for providing MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) services on Hamilton Sundstrand's components for the Boeing 787.

"Hamilton Sundstrand is pleased to provide Boeing 787 customers with additional maintenance options through its newest relationship with Lufthansa Technik," said Matthew Bromberg, vice president and general manager Customer Service of Hamilton Sundstrand. "Lufthansa Technik's vast experience in the overhaul, maintenance and repair industry will provide the solid foundation needed to successfully support our customers."
