Hamilton Lane's Andrea Kramer Participates in Women in Investing Roundtable at the White House

BALA CYNWYD, Pa., June 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Andrea Kramer, Managing Director, Investment Committee Member and Head of Hamilton Lane's Global Fund Investment Team, participated in a Women in Investing Roundtable organized by the White House Business Council and the U.S. Small Business Association. Other event attendees included women in prominent positions from across the investment profession, Federal Officials and senior White House administrators.

The goal of the roundtable was to initiate a conversation around empowering women to participate in programs such as the Small Business Investment Company (SBIC), of which Hamilton Lane is a newly licensed member. These programs are designed to support the needs of small businesses, and can be used to promote diversity in small businesses across the United States. Additionally, the all-female audience was tasked with conceiving ways to open an active dialogue with senior administration officials to identify available opportunities and the resources needed to assist in this initiative.
