Halloween City Hires Up To 12,000 Seasonal Employees For Second Largest Retail Holiday
LIVONIA, Mich., Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Costume superstore, Halloween City, is creating thousands of temporary jobs in anticipation of the upcoming Halloween season. Halloween has become nearly a $7 billion retail industry. It's the second largest retail Holiday in the US, according to the National Retail Federation. At this time every year, Halloween City expands its reach as more than 400 temporary Halloween City stores are opened to the public. Right now, Halloween City is recruiting up to 12,000 new employees to fill temporary management and store associate positions all across the country. Opportunities exist for more than 24 associates at every store, as the retailer looks to accommodate the busy Halloween season.

A variety of positions are available, including some within the management team. Employees are treated to a specialized training program to gain Halloween costume product knowledge and expertise. More than 40 percent of US consumers plan to dress in costumes according to the National Retail Federation. Knowledgeable employees are needed to quickly navigate through Halloween City's vast assortment of costumes, accessories and props to help outfit shoppers in the perfect Halloween costume.
