Hallmark is Hiring: More than 150 Full-Time Jobs Available in the Kansas City Area

Positions up to $16/hr are immediately available at the company's Liberty and Lawrence facilities

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Feb. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hallmark has more than 150 immediate full-time positions open at two of its Kansas City-area facilities. There are approximately 120 openings at its 1.75 million sq. ft. Liberty, Mo. Distribution Center and 35 opportunities at its 650,000 sq. ft. Greetings Production Center in Lawrence, Kan.

"Thanks to increased demand for Hallmark's expanded offerings of greeting card and gift products, there is a need for additional production and distribution capacity at our area facilities," said Fred Wise, Human Resources Director – Recruiting, Diversity & Inclusion.

The hiring boom at Hallmark's facilities includes order processing positions in Liberty, and a range of manufacturing roles in Lawrence. The position salaries range from $14.50 to $16 per hour. Candidates can click on the following options below to easily apply and learn about each position:

"We have already hired 65 individuals from a recent day-long interview event at the Liberty facility, but the demand for great talent continues," said Wise. "Hallmark will have additional retail order processor openings throughout the year as part of our ongoing hiring process."

In recent years Hallmark has brought approximately 400 jobs from other facilities on the East Coast and from Canada to the Kansas City area. The Liberty facility currently employs approximately 1,350 Hallmarkers, who play a key role in distributing more than 50,000 products to more than 60,000 accounts. The Lawrence facility currently employs more than 730 Hallmarkers who produce and manufacture the cards that consumers have grown to love for years.
