Halek Energy Clarifies That Affiliation With CBO Energy, Inc. Ended in 2009

DALLAS, Dec. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to several recent inquiries, Halek Energy LLC issued a public clarification today regarding Halek Energy CEO Jason Halek's ongoing relationship to CBO Energy, Inc.  Mr. Halek has not been an affiliate of CBO Energy—as an owner, director or officer—since October 1, 2009.

Halek Energy LLC currently operates approximately twenty oil and gas wells, located primarily in Jack, Erath and Palo Pinto counties in Texas.  Total third quarter 2010 revenue from drilling activities was $3.6 million, all of which was generated from the sale of oil and gas produced from wells operated by Halek Energy.

The primary purchaser of the oil produced from these Halek Energy operated wells is Transoil Marketing.  The primary purchaser of the gas and plants products produced from these Halek Energy operated wells is Enbridge G&P (North Texas LP).
