Hair Cuttery Donates More Than 67,000 Free Haircut Certificates to Local Veterans

VIENNA, Va., Nov. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hair Cuttery, the largest family-owned and operated chain of hair salons in the country, announced today that 67,730 haircuts will be donated to former service men and women through its November Share-A-Haircut program. More than doubling last November's donation tally, the certificates are valued at $21 each for a total campaign value of more than $1.4 million, and will be used to show thanks and gratitude to veterans across the country.  

The donated haircut certificates will be distributed to veterans in the communities in which Hair Cuttery operates its nearly 900 salons.  In each market, Hair Cuttery teamed up with non-profits and veteran's organizations to provide free haircut certificates to former U.S. Military.

Since 1999, the Share-A-Haircut program has donated more than 2.01 million free haircut certificates valued at more than $33 million.
