Haier the only Chinese Brand to Take Home Prestigious German Plus X Innovation Award
BEIJING, June 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Haier, the world's leading home appliances and consumer electronics brand, received a prestigious Plus X innovation award at a ceremony last week in Bonn, Germany. As the only Chinese firm to win the esteemed award for "Most Innovative Brands of the Year", the honor marks Haier's growing status on the global stage.
The Plus X Awards, with an international and independent panel of judges from 27 industries, 23 strategic partners and more than 600 participating international brands, are the world's largest innovation awards for technology, sports and lifestyle products. This year, 26 reputable multinational companies were chosen as award recipients.
Haier also received two separate product awards for its Intelius 50 Washing Machine, which features an elegant user experience, and its S100 Side by Side, a refrigerator with a record volume storage capacity.

The annual international Plus X Awards were launched in 2004 to recognize the most innovative and 'future-proof' products that exhibit at least one extra feature. The 2015 awards ceremony marked the twelfth anniversary of the Plus X Awards.
