HackerRank Hires Mike Asher as CFO

PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- HackerRank, a platform that ranks engineers based on their coding skills and helps companies discover talent faster, announced today the hire of Mike Asher as Chief Financial Officer. Asher will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning and operations at HackerRank. With his proven track record of scaling high-growth startups, he is well positioned to help HackerRank, which is growing at a rate rivaling the fastest-growing software startups in the world, enter its next phase of growth and international expansion.

Over his career, Asher has helped companies successfully scale operations, expand internationally, raise financing, and successfully exit the market.

Asher's appointment comes on the heels of HackerRank's latest product release, HackerRank Jobs, the first job search app that connects companies with skilled software engineers while offering engineers a guaranteed response from companies within five business days. Asher is the latest in a string of executives – including VP of Product David Park, COO Grady Burnett, head of talent Scott Gilfoil, and senior engineer Ahmed Aly – joining HackerRank as the company scales its operations, product, growth, and engineering teams.
