H/2 Capital Partners Hires Senior Services and Operations Team

STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- H/2 Capital Partners today announced that it has added a senior, four-person team of industry veterans to its services and operations platform.  Michael Carp, Grace Holst, John Mayfield and Michael O'Hanlon, all formerly of Berkadia Commercial Mortgage (Berkadia), will expand the Company's growing services and operations platform, including its rated loan servicing business, Strategic Asset Services (SAS).

The four newest additions bring deep expertise and experience in operations, servicing and technology to the Company.  Messrs.Carp, Mayfield and O'Hanlon have worked together as a team for nearly 20 years in the commercial real estate and mortgage industry, most recently at Berkadia.  Ms. Holst joined Berkadia in 2009 after more than 20 years in the industry.

The new team will also expand SAS' resources as it grows its third-party asset management and loan servicing business.  In recent years, the new team has evaluated and resolved more than $30 billion of CRE-secured loans for a variety of investors, including financial institutions, opportunity funds and private owners.  Mr. Carp will serve as SAS' President and will be responsible for overseeing servicing and asset management activities.  Mr. O'Hanlon will serve as Managing Director, with Ms. Holst and Mr. Mayfield as Senior Vice Presidents.
