Gulf Coast Beach Cams named the "official webcam provider for the Emerald Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau"
DESTIN, Fla., April 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Gulf Coast Beach Cams has partnered with The Emerald Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau to be the "Official webcam provider" for the ECCVB website www.emeraldcoasting.com.
Emeraldcoasting.com is the official website for the Emerald Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau. The webcams will be a unique and valuable addition to the ECCVB website to promote the beautiful Emerald Coast to hundreds of thousands of potential visitors to the area researching their next trip to the gulf coast. The HD webcams are state of the art and offer a live streaming view of the Gulf Coast to the public from their desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone though www.emeraldcoasting.com.
"Real-time, untouched visuals are the best tool we have to showcase our destination across the county," says Ed Shroeder, Director of the Emerald Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau. "As the booking window grows shorter and shorter, our visitors are using webcams to determine the immediate condition of our beaches before traveling. Gulf Coast Beach Cams provides the clearest, sharpest and most dependable beach cam service we have found," Shroeder added.
Gulf Coast Beach Cams is the official webcam for five local radio stations (Z96, 99Rock, Nash105.5, Coast 103.1 and Newstalk 1260) and is one of the official webcams for the Destin Chamber of Commerce. It's only fitting that in its second year, it has been named the "Official webcam provider for the Emerald Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau."
"This is a great honor for us," says Steven LeBlanc, Director of Operations for Gulf Coast Beach Cams. "To be partnered with the Emerald Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau, who already does an amazing job representing Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island and Destin, is a testament to the high standards of quality and excellence that Gulf Coast Beach Cams has strived to achieve," said LeBlanc.
The cameras are controllable, allowing viewers to take turns for up to one minute to explore what each location has to offer. In the morning you can turn the camera to the east and watch the sunrise and in the evening you can turn it to the west to watch the stunning sunsets. From views of the fishing pier on Okaloosa Island to the hustle and bustle of the docks on the Destin Harbor to the picturesque views of Henderson State Park and the Gulf of Mexico, there is always something for future visitors to the area to see.
In addition to the stunning views, many popular Emerald Coast events will now be viewable over the web including the Emerald Coast Volleyball Week, Paddle at the Porch Paddle Board Race, Destin Fishing Rodeo and various fireworks displays. Each camera page also provides visitors with information about local businesses specific to that geographic location, which include suggestions to where visiting tourists may want to stay and eat as well as activities they may want to do.
The newest webcam company in the area, Gulf Coast Beach Cams, first launched its network of high definition webcams in January 2015 in Okaloosa County. The network quickly spread across the coast providing views from iconic restaurants such as Margaritaville, The Crab Trap, AJ's Seafood and Oyster Bar and the Back Porch as well as Trip Advisor's "most romantic bed and breakfast," The Henderson Park Inn.
