Guidant Financial Continues Solid Growth, Adding Key Executives and Opening New Office
BELLEVUE, Wash., Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Small business financing company, Guidant Financial, today announced the addition of an executive vice president and HR business partner to its growing team. The company also recently opened a new, larger office located at 1100 112th Avenue in Bellevue to accommodate growth, contributing to its mission to increase the number of small businesses that succeed.
Devin Miller joins Guidant Financial as executive vice president, responsible for improving internal processes and strategically driving the company forward. Previously, Devin was chief strategy officer at TaxACT and before that, CEO and co-founder of Balance Financial, a startup that provides cloud-based solutions for CPAs, financial advisors and private banks. Experienced in product development, strategic planning and partnerships, M&A, and innovation projects, Devin brings deep knowledge and experience to the Guidant Financial team. Devin has also been a startup mentor for the Iowa Startup Accelerator and with the UW Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship. He has successfully launched a number of products and holds patents for various technologies and systems he co-designed. Devin holds a bachelor's degree from Western Washington University and lives in North Bend.
Jen Dai brings a passion for culture, professional coaching and leadership development to the Guidant Financial team in her new HR business partner role, where she will be responsible for managing the company's HR needs. Most recently, Jen was an HR business leader at Boeing where she partnered with engineers responsible for creating and producing the new 737 MAX airplane. She has a hybrid background having spent most of her career as a CPA at Ernst & Young LLP, consulting clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. Ms. Dai graduated from the University of California, Irvine and also completed her HR Management certificate at the University of Washington. She is a Bellevue resident.
