Guidant Financial CEO David Nilssen to Speak on Access to Capital Panel on November 12

WHAT: Guidant Financial CEO and serial entrepreneur, David Nilssen, will speak on the panel Startups Start Here: Strategies from Entrepreneurs at the "Access to Capital: Money to Main Street" conference series hosted by Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. on Nov. 12, 2013 at 10:45 a.m. PST. "Access to Capital: Money to Mainstreet" was started as an initiative to educate local small business owners about lending options and ways to help grow their companies. Since most large companies were once small businesses or startups, the focus of the panel is to learn from real entrepreneurs on how they grew their businesses from concept, to prototype, to growth. Nilssen was invited to speak about his personal experience as a serial entrepreneur, having launched a number of companies over the last 15 years including Guidant Financial, which has helped more than 8,000 entrepreneurs invest more than $3 billion in retirement funds since 2003.
Attendees will have the opportunity to partake in roundtables as well as one-on-one face time with more than 40 representatives from 21 financial institutions, including Guidant Financial. Guidant Senior Financing Consultant Troy Brockway will be available to discuss alternative small business financing options and how entrepreneurs can build their dream business.
