Guggenheim Securities Hires Analyst Jake Fuller in Expansion of Tech/Media/Telecom Coverage
NEW YORK, Feb. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, today announced the hiring of veteran equity analyst Jake Fuller in a strategic expansion of the firm's research effort in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT).
Mr. Fuller will commence work at Guggenheim in May 2015 as a Managing Director and senior Internet analyst in the firm's New York office.
"Jake's research will provide an excellent complement to the work of Michael Morris in Media & Entertainment and Cable & Satellite and Paul Gallant in TMT policy," said Matthew Johnson, Senior Managing Director and Head of Equities at Guggenheim Securities. "Expansion of our TMT research franchise is an important element of our growth plan and supports our goal of helping clients achieve exceptional investment outcomes."
"Adding an analyst of Jake's stature to our team deepens our presence in the media sector to include digital and online business models and continues our highly focused recent expansion," said John Hervey, Senior Managing Director and Director of Research at Guggenheim Securities.
Mr. Fuller has over 20 years of research experience, beginning at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and including time as one of the early partners at Thomas Weisel Partners. Most recently, he was an analyst with FBR Capital Markets in New York.
Mr. Fuller graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from Albany State University.
