Guaranteed Home Mortgage Company Appoints Former Wells Fargo Managers to Key Positions

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Guaranteed Home Mortgage Company, Inc. (Guaranteed, www.ghmc.com), a national residential mortgage investment and banking firm, today announced the appointment of two former managers from a well-known competitor, Wells Fargo, to serve at leadership levels of its organization.

Matt Sharp will serve as market manager for Westchester County at the company's headquarters in White Plains, New York, where he will oversee all aspects of the sales process including recruiting and mentorship of sales teams. Russ Pfeffer will lead a sales team, recruit bankers and develop strategic relationships at Guaranteed's new office at Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan.

Neil Bader, Guaranteed's National Retail Sales Director and a former Wells Fargo executive, said, "I'm thrilled to be working with Matt and Russ again, both personally and because this level of management talent will accelerate the origination growth we've already experienced this year thanks to our expansive retail strategy."

With 24 years of mortgage experience, Mr. Bader has accomplished this type of transformation in the past. He built two of the largest mortgage origination platforms in the country -- as CEO of Skyscraper Mortgage and leader of the mortgage banking team at Wells Fargo -- achieving number one market share each time.  

The new appointments bring an impressive level of accomplishment to Guaranteed. Mr. Sharp ran the private mortgage banking group in Westchester for Wells Fargo for the past three years and managed at JP Morgan Chase for 13 years before that. Mr. Pfeffer achieved a number one ranking for volume of loans in Manhattan at Wells Fargo's largest branch.

Mr. Sharp holds a BS in Finance from Fordham University. He participates in the Boy Scouts of America and the Men's Ministry of St. Mary's Parish in Ridgefield, CT, where he lives with his wife and children.

Mr. Pfeffer belongs to the New York Athletic Club and Central Park Track Club, an elite runners organization, and has completed the New York City Marathon in 2:36:41, finishing in the top 100 of 38,000 participants. He lives in Manhattan with his wife.
