The 15 year old Chinese golf prodigy beat the World No.1 and winner of 14 majors, Tiger Woods and World No.4 Rory McIlroy in a skills challenge before The Match at Mission Hills which teed off earlier this afternoon.
Challenged with hitting a target some 100 yards down the fairway, the teenager from Guangdong Province bested his heroes by outscoring them 50 points to 30 after three shots.
Speaking before the contest, a confident young Guan said, "I'm very happy to be here playing with Tiger and Rory. I'm playing well at the moment and am confident that I can beat them in this challenge." And beat them he did.
