GTSI Forms Strategic Relationship with Terremark to Deliver Cloud Computing Solutions for Government

HERNDON, Va., July 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GTSI Corp.(R) (Nasdaq: GTSI), a leading IT infrastructure solutions and services provider to government, today announced a strategic relationship with Terremark Worldwide, a global provider of IT infrastructure services to deliver Enterprise Cloud Solutions to federal, state, and local government. The relationship will also allow GTSI to expand its cloud computing infrastructure offerings and immediately increase the availability of enterprise cloud-based solutions to government agencies through the Solutions for Enterprise Wide Procurement (SEWP) and Information Technology Enterprise Solutions (ITES) 2H contract vehicles.

The Cloud Computing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model offered by GTSI and Terremark allows agencies to address increasing demands on government IT to deliver services more effectively, reduce energy usage, facilitate Telework, and decrease operational costs while maintaining security.  This new approach enables agencies to:
