GTSI Announces 5K Charity Run/Walk Event to Support the Wounded Warrior Project

HERNDON, Va., Aug. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- GTSI, a leading provider of information technology to federal, state and local governments, announced today that its first GTSI 5K Charity Run/Walk event will be held on October 15, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. Hosted by GTSI and DC Road Runners, this 5K event will follow a course in the community surrounding the company's headquarters in Herndon, VA.

This charity event is open to everyone and GTSI is expecting hundreds of participants from the IT industry, government and the local community. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
