GTCR Promotes John Kos and Jeff Heh to Principal

CHICAGO, Sept. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- GTCR, a leading Chicago-based private equity firm, recently named John Kos and Jeff Heh as Principals of the firm.

Mr. Kos joined GTCR in 2006 as an Associate and became a Vice President in the firm's Healthcare Group in 2011. Mr. Kos has been an active leader in a number of important healthcare investments including Cole-Parmer, RX30, Xifin, Riverchase Dermatology, Cedar Gate Technologies and GreatCall. Prior to joining GTCR, Mr. Kos worked as an Analyst in the Healthcare Group of Citigroup Global Markets in New York. He holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a BS in finance with highest honors from the University of Illinois.

Mr. Heh joined the Capital Markets Group at GTCR as a Vice President in 2013, where he focuses on the firm's debt financing activities for both new and existing investments. Mr. Heh has been instrumental in the financing of several recent investments, including Albany Molecular, GreatCall, RevSpring and TerSera, as well as numerous other portfolio company financings. Prior to joining GTCR, Mr. Heh worked as a Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Group at J.P. Morgan. He holds a BS from the University of Richmond with a concentration in finance.
