PLEASANTON, Calif., May 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Regional overnight parcel delivery company Postal Express (PEX) has been acquired by GLS and has become a sister company to GSO, based in Pleasanton, CA. By combining their resources, network infrastructure and geography, GSO and Postal Express will be able to provide Priority Overnight, Ground and Freight delivery throughout the West Coast starting May 15, 2017.
This acquisition will enable both GSO and Postal Express to significantly reduce transit times throughout the West Coast by integrating operations and service areas. "The extension of our services into Oregon, Washington, and Idaho allows us to fulfill the needs of hundreds of GSO customers who have eagerly awaited our expansion into the Northwest while providing Postal Express shippers with the flexibility, delivery speed, convenience and excellent service that we've been delivering for over twenty years," said GSO CEO, Dana Hyatt.
"We are excited to offer our customers an overnight delivery footprint unmatched by the national carriers as well as significantly reduced transit times across the West Coast using GSO Ground and GSO Freight services," added Mark Corley, VP Sales and Marketing.
The two companies expect to drive customer growth under the umbrella of the GSO brand with greater access to leading edge technology, continued financial stability, and more than two decades of experience in the parcel industry.
