Growth of Lockton's Chicago Office Spurs New Location Amidst "Best Place to Work" Honors

Office at 500 West Monroe debuts June 8; open house celebrating 20 years of serving clients to follow in August

CHICAGO, June 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockton Companies has announced its Chicago office will move to 500 West Monroe in downtown Chicago effective June 8, further enhancing its client and operational growth, while recently being named as a "Best Place to Work in Illinois." Lockton is the world's largest privately held, independent insurance broker.

As the office relocates to 500 West Monroe, its focus on serving as clients' risk management, employee benefits, and retirement services partner has generated an average annual revenue growth of nearly 20 percent during the past five years alone, which has more than doubled in that time frame.

Recognition of the Chicago Associates' service to their community has also increased, as the office was recently named as a "Best Place to Work in Illinois" for the eighth time, lauding Lockton's benefit offerings, high Associate engagement rate, and volunteer efforts.

The new building will provide enough square footage to fill nearly an entire football field, offering 240 individual office spaces. Compared to the Chicago office's previous location, it is also the equivalent of increasing by the same size as the entire hockey rink of the Stanley Cup Finalist Chicago Blackhawks.
