Group Health Scores 100% Perfect Ranking on 2017 Corporate Equality Index
The Corporate Equality Index reports on corporate policies related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) people.
SEATTLE, Dec. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Group Health has been awarded a perfect score in the 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Group Health joins the ranks of 517 major U.S. businesses which also earned the top CEI score of 100 percent also are named the "Best Places to Work" in the U.S.

The 2017 CEI rated 1,043 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community.
