Groundbreaking for State-of-the-Art Studio Set for Friday, April 15 at The Word Network in Southfield

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Word Network will break ground and hold a news conference on Friday, April 15, at 11:30 A.M., to announce a new state-of-the-art-studio that will be built on the site of The Word Network's world headquarters in Southfield. The multimillion dollar expansion project will create at least fifty new jobs. The ever popular "Rejoice in the Word" program that airs live every Friday evening will be produced in the new facility.

Grammy nominated Gospel singer Vickie Winans is set to perform at the ground breaking event. The City of Southfield and Oakland County officials have been invited to attend, along with other area dignitaries.
