Ground-Breaking Prosper Technologies' Oxygen Infusion Will Transform Contaminated Water Globally Cutting Edge Technology Fully Restores Eco System on Richard Branson's Necker Island
Company has patented applications in water treatment, agriculture, healthcare, and consumer goods
NEW YORK, April 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Max Mackenzie, CEO, who led the baby food pouch revolution with Sprout Foods, is now turning his energies to the launch of Prosper Technologies. The Company's technology supersaturates liquids, such as water, with dissolved oxygen, while simultaneously removing other gases. The proprietary process creates a highly-oxygenated water, with very stable and extended oxygen retention, which makes it ideal for use in water treatment, agriculture, healthcare, and consumer goods.
Prosper was recently challenged with demonstrating the capabilities of the oxygen infusion technology on Sir Richard Branson's Necker Island. The lakes on the island were full of harmful elements such as algae, phosphorous, nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide, and other waterborne toxins. Prosper installed oxygen infusers in one of the lakes in November 2016. In less than 45 days, the chemical-free application increased oxygen levels in the lake by over 1500%, triggering a bioremediation process that consumed and removed harmful elements and their associated odor. The health of the lake has significantly changed and now supports aquatic life, the flamingos and other wildlife, once again becoming a vital living part of the island's ecosystem.
"I had no idea that there could be a company which would transform filthy, dirty water, that was effectively stagnant and dead, and bring it back to life again," said Sir Richard Branson. "I'm enormously grateful to you for your time and energy on that. From what I've heard, there's lots of fantastic uses that you could put this technology to…and it just feels fundamentally, you seemed to have gotten it right."
"We are extremely proud to be able to show off what we know is cutting edge technology. When used in areas that really need clean water, we can make a huge difference and that is just the beginning," added Mackenzie. "I am especially grateful to Sir Richard for giving us the opportunity to show him the power of the technology, and even more satisfied knowing life has returned to the lake."
Prosper has developed additional patented applications such as: oxygenated irrigation systems, providing accelerated growth and increased yield of crops; water purification enhancement processes, increasing the output significantly of usable water from water treatment; and several topical oxygenation treatments, improving wound healing time.
Prosper Technologies has the ability to transform compromised water systems in countries and cities around the world.
