"Partnering with a platform, home to tens of millions of music fans looking to find new music, seems like a pretty good idea to us when we're launching a new artist like Vanessa Bley," stated Dustin Addis, Manager of Vanessa Bley for Crush Management.
Grooveshark first ventured into artist development in August 2011 with Austin-based band Quiet Company. This partnership found immediate success, with the band's Facebook likes increasing from 2,000 to 38,000 in less than three months through promotions on Grooveshark. The new partnership aims to generate the same levels of exposure for Vanessa Bley.
"We've worked with hundreds of labels, managers, and artists to promote their music to our audience," said Jack DeYoung, SVP of Music Strategy at Grooveshark. "Working with a company like Crush allows us to take the process a step further and truly build an artist's career online. We're excited to work with a company of their caliber, as well as an artist as talented as Vanessa."
