American Lamb Board Launches 'Get Your Grill On' Video Recipe Challenge With Ultimate Burger Bash Grand Prize
NEW YORK, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Calling all grilling gurus, the American Lamb Board is kicking off their third annual "Get Your Grill On" video competition today. Just in time to fire up the grill, fans of lamb are invited to partake in this year's "American Lamb Burger Bonanza" by sharing their beloved secrets for the ultimate lamb burger, from the best buttery buns to sweet and sour condiments.
Contestants can submit a 3 to 5 minute video showing how they get their grill on, specifying the recipe, what cut they used and why they love lamb. Videos will be reviewed by a panel of grilling experts to select a winner announced on July 15, in time for the winning grill master to receive two tickets to the NYC Wine & Food Festival's "Burger Bash" www.nycwineandfoodfestival.com/2010. All entrants will receive Fan of Lamb gear.
Packed with sweet, rich flavor, American lamb is a secret weapon when it comes to crowd-pleasing grilling. Aside from the show-stopping rack, there are also a number of budget-friendly cuts of lamb for the grill, like loin chops, sirloin, butterflied leg, ribs, and ground lamb.
