Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa Completes Lobby and Lounge Renovation

LEXINGTON, Ky., May 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Experience Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa like never before. Fresh off a total renovation, this stunning Lexington hotel now features a new lobby, atrium, Starbucks® coffee outlet, gift shop and lounge.

Enter into modern sophistication through the hotel's revamped lobby, which now features a new front desk with porcelain floors. The open space features brighter colors and is more accessible to traffic flows. Additionally, food and beverages will now be served in the lobby from the new 5/10/20 Menu featuring light snacks, salads, sandwiches and heartier fare from Marriott's Greatroom. A few of the new menu items include House made Potato Chips with Bourbon Onion dip and Thai Beef Flatbread Pizza.

The gift shop now offers a Starbucks coffee house experience with nearly half of the space dedicated to the cafe. Guests can socialize or work in the shop which offers seating and complimentary Wi-Fi. On the opposite end, guests can purchase sundries, snacks and local souvenirs sourced from the UK, Keeneland and Bourbon distilleries.

Lastly, JW's Lounge has a new fresh look and offers a variety of seating options, including banquettes with soft seating, private booths, high tables, and bar seating.

The completion of this public space is part of the $6.7 million renovation project that also included the guest room renovation completed last spring.
