Gridiron Menus Sizzle at Sun Life

MIAMI, Sept. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Another exciting season for the Miami Dolphins means another year of thrilling new stadium menu creations and hospitality innovations for Dolphins' fans at Sun Life Stadium. Centerplate, hospitality partner to top sporting venues, convention centers and cultural attractions across North America and the U.K., and proud hospitality partner at Sun Life Stadium, is once again bringing fans the world-class hospitality they've come to expect, with local flavors and high-quality game day fare.

New menu items include a wide variety of South Florida Favorites:

• Churrasco Chicken Nacho Supreme: spicy chicken with jalapeno pepper slices from Chihuahua, Mexico.
• "Pizza" Dog: a foot-long hot dog baked in pizza dough, with cheese or pepperoni.
• Pork "Pinchos": fresh marinated pork, grilled kebab-style, and served on a stick.
• Handmade Turkey Empanadas: a house-made specialty, each classic Latin-style empanada includes spiced ground turkey in a fried pastry pocket.
• Chicken Fajitas: sizzling chicken with grilled peppers and onions, on a warm flour tortilla.
• Grilled Chicken Sandwich: served with provolone cheese and red peppers on ciabatta bread and a side of fries.
• Premium Grass-Fed Burger: served with Cheddar on a toasted-buttered potato roll.

Additionally, Centerplate is introducing several new programs in stadium suites including: "Vegan with Vedge." The new Vegan menu was created in collaboration with the chefs of famed vegan restaurant, Vedge, and features tasty dishes including:
Vegan Pickled Sampler: olives and dried chilies, peel-and-eat lupini beans, pickled radishes and mustard seeds
Grilled Vegetable Board: grilled broccolini, roasted baby carrots, and roasted tri colored cauliflower
Chilled Golden Beet Board: roasted golden beets with avocado, cucumber and smoked tofu sauce, garnished with caper berries and bagel chips
Portabella Carpaccio: grilled portabellas, with pickled red cabbage and rye bread toast points and
Vegan Chocolate Chips Cookies.

The national movement to drink higher quality beverages that are thoughtfully prepared with the finest ingredients is a perfect trend for suite entertaining. Centerplate worked with Graham Case, the Owner and Mixologist at Case Cocktail Consulting, LLC, and former mixologist at major resorts and taverns, to develop these special new artisan cocktail choices for suites.
Va-Va-Vroom: a fresh take on the "Cosmopolitan." Light, fresh and crisp, this cocktail is perfect for everyone, no matter who they are cheering for.
Arnie & Rita: part Arnold Palmer, part margarita, two fun, refreshing drinks combined into one amazing cocktail with tea, fresh lemon and lime, and thyme-infused simple syrup.
Mojo: this cocktail combines a mint julep with a mojito for the serious feel of a whiskey cocktail and the lightness of a tropical mojito, topped with lots of fresh lime.
