The Grid Dynamics solution helps grocers transition their business model from a purely physical model to an integrated omnichannel model across store, on mobile devices and online.
Consumers are increasing their demand for an omnichannel experience to the grocery space. Trends like access to product information and coupons via mobile devices, in-store pickup or delivery and item availability across channels means grocers are updating technology to meet the increased consumer needs.

The Omnichannel Grocery Platform now supports the latest version, hybris 5.5. There is a new responsive web user interface (UI) that allows consumers to have a consistent shopping experience across all devices and form factors such as desktop/laptop, tablets and mobile. Improved shopping lists and shopping cart features make it easier for shoppers to maintain multiple lists and to more easily check out. Grid Dynamics has also added functionality so that consumers can buy products by either weight or item counts which is configurable by the grocery merchandiser. Finally, a number of grocery-specific back-office features were implemented on top of hybris cockpits which allow merchandisers to better manage recipes, product information, store level prices and promotions, products sold by weight and more.
