Greyhound Launches E-Ticketing In The Northeast
From booking to boarding, customers now can access their tickets from any mobile device
DALLAS, Sept. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Greyhound, the largest provider of intercity bus transportation in North America, today announced the launch of its newest mobile feature, E-Ticketing, which allows customers to purchase tickets quickly and easily from Greyhound.com and board the bus with just a flash of their mobile phones. The new paperless ticket capability will streamline the travel and boarding process for drivers and customers alike.
"E-Ticketing is one of the biggest requests our customers have asked us to develop, so we are thrilled to introduce this new feature," said Andy Kaplinsky, chief commercial officer, Greyhound Lines, Inc. "Our customers deserve a seamless travel experience and E-Ticketing will make it so much easier for them to buy a ticket and board our buses, all from their mobile device."
The new E-Ticketing feature is available today in select locations across the Northeast, with further rollout this fall. Customers traveling to and from the following locations are currently eligible for E-Ticketing:

Customers buy their tickets on Greyhound.com, either via desktop or mobile web, and select E-Ticket as their delivery method under Ticket Options. On the day of travel, customers simply check in from their smartphone starting two hours before their scheduled departure time and the boarding pass will be shown. When it's time to board, all customers have to do is just show the driver their boarding pass, and they'll be on their way.
"E-Ticketing is just one more way Greyhound is making the travel experience better for customers," added Kaplinsky. "Delivering safe, best-in-class service at the lowest price is central to what we do every day, and we look forward to introducing more new features for our customers to enjoy in the coming months."
