Greyhound Celebrates Opening Of New Terminal In Baltimore, MD
Dedicates New Station to Congressman Elijah Cummings for his Efforts in Securing Station
DALLAS, May 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Greyhound Chief Operating Officer Bill Blankenship, Congressman Elijah E. Cummings and Baltimore Mayor Catherine E. Pugh celebrated the opening of the new Greyhound terminal in Baltimore with a grand opening celebration on May 9. The Greyhound Intermodal Terminal is located at 2110 Haines Street and is currently open to the public. The company dedicated the new station to Congressman Cummings, unveiling his name on the side of the building.

Located in downtown Baltimore, the new terminal is 9,516 square feet and offers 10 bus bays complete with covered loading areas. The exterior features a modern, sleek design complete with Low-E glass for energy conservation, while inside the terminal, customers may enjoy comfortable seating with outlets for charging devices and free Wi-Fi.
"The construction of the new Greyhound facility is a great example of what working partnerships between federal, state and local agencies, as well as private entities can achieve," said Mayor Catherine E. Pugh. "Thanks to the efforts of representatives, including Congressman Elijah Cummings, we were able to work with our state partners and Greyhound to secure federal funding which will enable us to provide better transit options for citizens in Baltimore and beyond."
