SYOSSET, N.Y., Oct. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gregory E. Turnidge, of Melbourne, Australia, has been included in the Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Edition for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the fields of economics and recycling.

ABOUT GREGORY E. TURNIDGE

Mr. Turnidge has more than 33 years of international experience across different fields. He was a Research Economist with the Reserve Bank of Australia from 1974-1978, General Manager and Economist with the Victorian Chamber of Manufacturers from 1978-1982 and in the Office of Management and Budget with the Victorian Government, from 1982-1984. Also, he was the Managing Director of Aluminum Smelters of Victoria from 1984-1998 and a Private Consultant/venture capitalist for start-up companies from 1998-2006. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Close the Loop, Ltd., a rapidly-expanding imaging consumables recycling company processing inkjet/toner cartridges and plastics in operations located in Australia and the U.S.A. His responsibilities cover corporate strategy, customer-based geographic growth and international business relationships/brand reputation. Mr. Turnidge received an M. Ec. Degree with Honors, from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, in 1978. He had several articles published regarding economics and corporate governance. He is a Fellow with the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Board Member of the Australian Council of Recyclers. He was selected to accompany the Prime Minister of Australia in a trade mission to Korea. He represented the private sector in the Victorian Government Office of Management and Budget and was appointed a Managing Director at the age of 31. Mr. Turnidge currently resides in Hawthorn East, Australia, with his wife and children, where he enjoys physical fitness and is a wine connoisseur.
