GROTON, Conn., April 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Commander Greg Sabra announced his retirement from the US Coast Guard after a distinguished 20-year career. Sabra, a graduate of the US Coast Guard Academy, served in a variety of diverse billets during his two-decade career including sea-going assignments on several cutters, project management assignments at shipyard/repair/maintenance facilities, and at the Coast Guard Academy as an Engineering instructor and operations/resource director. Greg also earned two masters degrees from MIT in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Connecticut, and Program Management Professional.

As ThayerMahan continues to expand its footprint performing US Navy and Coast Guard missions, while growing its manufacturing and production capacity, Greg's expertise and experience will be an invaluable addition to the management team.
