Healthcare Solutions to Be Showcased at HIMSS11 Conference in Orlando
CARROLLTON, Ga., Feb. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc., an HP Healthcare Elite Partner, today announced it is collaborating with HP to offer medical practices custom electronic health record (EHR) solutions to automate healthcare processes, increase efficiency and improve quality of care.
Greenway's PrimeSUITE® 2011 EHR, practice management and interoperability solution and HP hardware will be available to provide customers with the ability to select a custom EHR solution for each unique healthcare setting. The complete end-to-end solution will enable eligible professionals (EPs) to pursue meaningful use guidelines, as defined in the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, by providing them with the complete EHR solution of clinical, financial and administrative functionality.

HP hardware combined with Greenway's certified PrimeSUITE 2011 EHR will provide the availability of critical information in real-time throughout the healthcare IT environment, providing physicians and staff with on-demand access to the data they need. This joint delivery and marketing agreement will drive EHR adoption through HP's Elite Partner Program, providing Greenway's solutions on HP's EHReady program. Examples of EHR functionality include patient charting, numerous clinical alerts and content management, as well as practice management functionality with accounts receivable, registration, scheduling and reporting components. Healthcare organizations may choose to deploy the EHR solution in the cloud or on-site as a premise-based solution.
The combined Greenway and HP solutions will be available directly from Greenway and through a select network of jointly authorized resellers and distributed through TechData. The distribution will ensure that products and service are available to healthcare organizations of all sizes through local resellers, as well as national reseller partners.
