MIAMI, Feb. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce the expansion of the firm's Land Use & Zoning practice group in Miami with the addition of partner, William W. Riley, and senior counsel, Pedro Villa.

Mr. Riley has extensive experience in representing clients in the development of real property throughout Florida. His practice focuses on representing developers and construction lenders seeking development approvals during the comprehensive planning, zoning, subdivision and permitting process. In addition, Mr. Riley regularly represents clients in government procurement, code compliance and land use appellate matters. Mr. Riley successfully represented a client on procuring the policy body camera contract with Miami-Dade County, and has represented both local and international clients on public-private partnership proposals and solicitations that encompass some of the most innovative and financially significant P3s in Miami-Dade County.

Mr. Villa has experience in aiding clients through the political and legal aspects of government contract solicitations, defending against or prosecuting bid protests, and gaining land-use, zoning and permitting approvals for complex development projects before local authorities. He has also represented major corporations and prominent entrepreneurs in high-profile public private partnerships throughout numerous jurisdictions.
