Greensboro, Myrtle Beach auctions to feature scores of bank-owned commercial and residential properties
GREENSBORO, N.C., March 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 130 bank-owned properties from across North and South Carolina will sell in auctions set for April 21-22, with John Dixon & Associates marketing the properties and managing the events.
The auctions will include commercial buildings, an office/industrial building, homes, home sites, duplexes, a former service station, a former day care, former restaurants, condominiums and agricultural land.
"Over the two days, a majority of the properties will sell absolute, with no minimum or reserve. These properties are spread across the Carolinas," said John Dixon, president of the auction company.
The two days of auctions will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, at the Embassy Suites Greensboro-Airport, with the auction of 64 properties, including a former restaurant in Lexington, N.C., and two office condominiums in Jackson, N.C.
The second day of bidding will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, at the Hilton Garden Inn, Myrtle Beach/Coastal Grand Mall, in Myrtle Beach. "In the Myrtle Beach group, we have some really nice residential properties, including a riverfront home in Sunset Beach, N.C., a condominium on the Intracoastal Waterway in Myrtle Beach, and a lake house in Manning, S.C., among others. But we also have some attractive commercial real estate that day, including a two-story multi-unit office condominium in Myrtle Beach," said Dixon.
Both auctions will be streamed via the Internet, and bidders who cannot attend the live events may bid remotely and have their bids relayed to the auction floor.
