NEW YORK, May 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Warsaw office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig Grzesiak sp.k. has been named "Poland Law Firm of the Year – International" by Chambers and Partners. Additionally, Lejb Fogelman, senior partner in the firm's Warsaw office, received an individual "Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession" award. The firm and Fogelman received their awards at the 2013 Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence in London.

Recent transactions for the firm's Warsaw office include acting for Barclays Capital, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley and Ipopema on the USD640 million IPO of Alior Bank, and advising PKN Orlen on a long-term crude oil supply contract with Rosneft Oil Company.
Fogelman focuses his practice on international business transactions in Poland, including private equity, privatization, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, financings, public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. He is described by Chambers and Partners as "one of the most renowned practitioners in the Polish legal market" and is "admired [by market commentators] for the way he handled the seamless transition of this entire team to Greenberg Traurig following the demise of Dewey and LeBoeuf."
