According to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEEP), CNBC recently named Minnesota the top state for business. DEEP notes that Minnesota's top ranking was based on the state's "balanced mix of big and small, established and up-and-coming" companies; transportation capabilities; cost of doing business; workforce that is educated, highly skilled, motivated, and productive; innovation and technology; leadership in K-12 and post-secondary education; overall business friendliness based on its legal and regulatory systems; access to capital with strong lenders; cost of living; and overall quality of life.
Fisco focuses his practice on corporate debt restructurings, bankruptcy, and related litigation matters. He represents indenture trustees, corporations, and investment funds in distressed debt restructurings across the United States. Fisco works with clients to develop and implement cost-effective strategies. He also counsels clients on finance and insolvency matters in Asia, South America, and the United Kingdom.
