Greenberg Traurig Advises Talanx on its Listing on Warsaw Stock Exchange

WARSAW, Germany, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- A team of attorneys from the Warsaw office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP advised Talanx, a German insurer, on the admission of its shares to trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE). In satisfying its commitment to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, Talanx floated more than 252 million shares (already listed on the stock exchanges in Frankfurt and Hannover) with a value of PLN 30.3 billion (based on the closing bid on its debut day of trading on the WSE).

The Greenberg Traurig team was led by Warsaw Partner Ireneusz Matusielański. She was assisted by associates Dorota Jenerowicz, Adam Puchalski, Aleksandra Polak, Marta Drywa and Marek Kłeczek.

Greenberg Traurig provided legal counsel on the preparation of an information memorandum, serving as the basis for the admission of Talanx shares to trading. The team also provided representation of the company in contacts with the National Depository of Securities and the WSE.
