Green Fuels Research Selected to Present at CleanEquity Monaco 2015

LONDON, Feb. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Green Fuels Research (GFR) will present at CleanEquity Monaco 2015 on March 5th & 6th at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.

CleanEquity Monaco is an annual invitation-only event hosted by Innovator Capital, the London based boutique investment bank.

Other partners and sponsors include Prince Albert II of Monaco's Foundation, Covington & Burling, The Climate Group, Porter Novelli, Cranfield University, PR Newswire, the Monte-Carlo SBM, Oceanographic Museum of Monaco and the Monaco Chamber of Economic Development.

GFR has been identified by an expert panel as one of the world's most innovative cleantech companies and has been selected to present to senior financial and strategic cleantech investors, policy makers, legislators, end users and media.

GFR's sister company, Green Fuels, provided the fuel for the first biojet flight in 2007 and has since been granted a Royal Warrant for the long term supply of advanced biofuel to the UK Royal Family. Building on this experience, GFR has now created a low-cost and energy efficient bio-aviation fuel for use in jet engines.

In the USA alone there are 150 biodiesel facilities producing some 10 billion litres of fuel every year. The US Department of Transportation have predicted that between 10 and 25% of this production will be up-scaled to biojet. GFR's business model is based on establishing 50 plants at existing biodiesel facilities where 10% of the current production will be converted to biojet. Holding the patent on the resultant fuel, GFR intends to gain a royalty on every litre produced. The benefit of working with the existing industry is that they have established feedstock supplies, site permitting, and are able to gain greater returns by up-scaling a proportion of their current production to biojet.

GFR is in the process of constructing a demonstration facility with the aid of UK government funding, through the Energy Entrepreneurs Fund. By attending CleanEquity Monaco, GFR is seeking investment to enable the commercialisation of its technology and the franchised rollout of this process in the established biodiesel market.
