Green Earth Technologies Big NASCAR Weekend
GREENING OF NEW HAMPSHIRE AND G-OIL 100, NNS COMPETITION IN KENTUCKY
CELEBRATION, Fla., Sept. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Green Earth Technologies (G.E.T.) (OTC Bulletin Board: GETG), makers of G-OIL, the first bio-based full synthetic oil used in NASCAR competition, will be doing double duty Saturday, September 22 with major activities in two NASCAR venues.
The Tri Star Motorsport team and drivers Tayler Malsam, #19 G-OIL Toyota Camry, and Mike Bliss, #10 Toyota Camry, are competing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Sparta, Kentucky (Saturday afternoon at 3:30PM on ESPN). Demonstrating the performance and reliability of G-OIL, Bliss is currently 8th and Malsam 13th in the 2012 NNS standings after 26 races.
Meanwhile, the Green Earth Technologies marketing team will be in New Hampshire as G-OIL becomes an official partner in the 'Greening of NHMS' at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS), site of this weekend's NASCAR Sprint Cup race.
"Delivering performance and environmental benefits at the same time is what Green Earth Technologies and G-OIL are all about," said Jeffrey Loch, President and CMO of G.E.T. American-made G-OIL is the world's first and only bio-based fully synthetic motor oil to receive American Petroleum Institute (API) certification.
"While Tayler and Mike are demonstrating the performance of G-OIL in NNS competition in Kentucky, we will be demonstrating the environmental benefits of our products in New Hampshire," said Loch.
Highlighting the G-OIL activities in New Hampshire are the G-OIL 100 K&N Pro Series East race, the Ultimate Pit Stop Sweepstakes, and demonstrations of Green Earth's Bar & Chain oil by STIHL Hot Saw champion Mike Sullivan.
"New Englanders are very environmentally conscious and NHMS is an environmental leader in the motorsports industry. We are very pleased to team up in the Greening of NHMS," said Loch.
G-OIL products will be used in all NHMS official vehicles including safety, maintenance, service and landscaping equipment. G-OIL will also be offering free samples of G-OIL, 2-Cycle Bio-Synthetic Green Engine Oil, and Bar & Chain Oil products to the 5,000 fans in the NHMS camping areas.
Unique Pit Stop
Prior to the G-OIL 100, Robert Ruest, the Grand Prize Winner of the VIP Part, Tires & Service Ultimate Pit Stop Sweepstakes, will make a lap of the Magic Mile with his own vehicle and then come down pit road for a very unique pit stop. Ben Kennedy Racing's #96 K&N East G-OIL Pit Crew will service his car, including changing the oil using Ultimate Biodegradable G-OIL Advanced Full Synthetic Green Motor Oil. Ruest will then leave the pits for one more lap before joining the Green Earth Technologies team to view the G-OIL 100 from his VIP seat.
"Green Earth and G-OIL have got it all going on this weekend," said Loch.
