Green Cleaning Pioneer Ecover Launches New Friendly Design And Packaging
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ecover, the pioneer of green cleaning products, has launched a friendly and modern redesign of its plant-based, recyclable cleaning products, in celebration of the company's 35th anniversary. The new designs merge ecofriendly formulas with fun, approachable packaging and light, fresh, naturally derived fragrances. The liquid laundry and dish products were enhanced with a better price point and improved efficacy to give added confidence that green cleaners really do work. The brightly colored products are available at Whole Foods Market and will appear on shelves at other natural channel retailers throughout the fall.

The new look features consumer-friendly symbols that allow shoppers to easily identify the product's key green benefits. An easy-to-read ingredient list also enables consumers to understand exactly what is in each product. The logo was softened, using lowercase letters and a heart-leaf flower to signal nature-based science. The bottles were redesigned to have a more ergonomic shape and they are transparent, so shoppers can see what's inside. Ecover's bottles are readily recyclable and made with Plantplastic®, Ecover's own blend of plant-sourced plastic made from sugarcane, and post-consumer recycled plastic.
The improved product line includes laundry, home care and dish products in a variety of fresh, naturally derived fragrances and fragrance-free options. Ecover's new products range in price from $3.99 to $14.99 and are available at Whole Foods Market, natural channel retailers, and online on Soap.com.
