Greeley and Hansen Appoints New Director of Latin American Operations
Fernando Sarmiento Promoted to Managing Director of Engineering Firm's Expanding Latin America Operating Group
CHICAGO, Dec. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Greeley and Hansen has named Fernando Sarmiento as managing director of the firm's new Latin America Operating Group. Sarmiento most recently served as office director for the Phoenix location of the firm. He has more than 16 years of professional engineering experience with Greeley and Hansen, managing a diverse range of water and wastewater programs and facility upgrade projects for municipal utilities and agencies.

A registered Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional, Sarmiento is a Fulbright Scholar with a masters degree in environmental engineering from Arizona State University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from National Polytechnic School, Quito, Ecuador. He is also a Board Certified Environmental Engineer of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and is a member of the Water Environment Federation, the Arizona Water Association, the Project Management Institute, and the Association of Mechanical Engineers, Ecuador.
