Greater Georgia Life Insurance Company Offers Robust Enhancements to Resource Advisor With Beneficiary Companion and Identity Theft Recovery Services
ATLANTA, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Greater Georgia Life Insurance Company is pleased to reveal two new enhancements to its Resource Advisor member assistance program – the Beneficiary Companion program and the Identity Theft Victim Recovery Services program. Both programs are available at no cost to new and existing customers effective October 1, 2010.
"When our life insurance beneficiaries are dealing with the death of a loved one, we are there to provide them with much more than a benefits check," said Nicholas Brecker, president of Greater Georgia Life Insurance Company's Life and Disability business. "Our Beneficiary Companion program provides valuable assistance so they can focus on the healing process. In addition, our Identity Theft Recovery Services program provides our customers with a distinctive, full-service suite of services."
"For example, our Beneficiary Companion helps beneficiaries protect their estate by closing accounts, notifying financial institutions and public agencies of a death and placing a freeze on credit reports to protect the beneficiary against someone opening new accounts or using their loved ones existing accounts," said Brecker.
"In addition, if our members become the victim of identity theft, the Identity Theft Victim Recovery Services program assists them with comprehensive identity recovery services by working with creditors, collection companies, collection law firms and credit reporting agencies. And, our members are assigned a Fraud Resolution Specialist who will be their personal advocate for one full year – all at no additional cost."
Other Resource Advisor services include advice on handling difficult situations – such as losing a loved one, legal and financial consultations, and preparation of all documents and letters for the member's signature.
"When employers offer their employees Resource Advisor, they're providing convenient resources, tools and support that can help improve their well-being and prevent problems from becoming an emotional or financial burden, said Brecker. "We believe the enhanced version of Resource Advisor helps to distinguish our product from others in the marketplace."
