Great Southern Bank opens full-service banking center in Columbia, Mo.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo., April 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Great Southern Bank in Columbia, Mo. is now open for business. The new full-service banking center is located at 3200 South Providence Road, and serves customers six days a week. The new facility features a full-service lobby, safe deposit boxes, teller area, drive-thru lanes and drive-up ATM.

To lead the banking center, the Company has hired local 11-year banking veteran, Lisa Fredette, who is an active member of the community. She's involved with the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Women's Network of Columbia, Partners in Education and is a member of the VFW. She is also involved with the Show-Me State Games, Jaycee's, the local food bank and Habitat for Humanity.

Grand opening festivities are planned for the weekend of May 1, including a ribbon cutting ceremony with the chamber of commerce, and a cookout for the community on Saturday, May 2. In celebration of the event, Great Southern Bank will be presenting a gift to a local non-profit organization and is offering several account specials for new customers.
